Bio

Louis Savage is a draftsman and painter originally from Cornwall, now based in London. He studied Fine Art at Kingston University in 2005 and has since continued to hone his craft, with his work now found in private collections worldwide.

Savage’s signature technique involves using pen on paper to create intricate images through stippling. Stippling is a process in which an image is made up of very fine dots, and he has mastered this technique to create images that are both detailed and delicate.

Savage’s subjects often include nature and small observations from everyday life, which he captures with remarkable detail and precision. Through his skilful use of stippling, he is able to create images that draw the viewer in and reveal the depth and richness of his subjects.

His meticulous approach to his work means that each dot is placed with care and intention, resulting in images that are both precise and expressive.

Through his work, he invites viewers to take a closer look at the world around them and appreciate the beauty in the details.
