Bio

Louis Savage is an artist based in London, working across photography, stippled ink, and pastel. Originally from Cornwall, he studied Fine Art at Kingston University in 2005 and has since developed a quiet, deliberate practice rooted in stillness and observation.

His signature drawings are made entirely with dots, using stippling — a technique that allows for extraordinary precision and control. Each image is built slowly, developing subtle gradations of tone and form through patient, deliberate mark-making.

Savage’s subjects often include flowers, familiar objects, and moments of subtle tension or calm. His work draws equally from Eastern and Western traditions, inviting close attention and rewarding long looking.

His pieces are held in private collections internationally.
